Walking in Los Angeles received a bad rap in the ’80s thanks to a popular song. But Venice, CA, has emerged as a pedestrian mecca of sorts. Now a modern-style home just steps from the neighborhood’s lively street life is on the market for $3.3 million.
“The whole place has been totally redone,” listing agent Anastasia Bowen says. This sounds a tad surprising given that the home was built in 2008. The original owner commissioned architect David Hertz to design his dream house. (Hertz is known for creating the “Californication” house, which is nearby.)
